science lounge at the scalaria for the first time
Looking back: Successful dialog between science and business at the Science Lounge 2024
In August 2024, the Science Lounge @ scalaria was once again the meeting place for leading minds from science, business and technology. Since its foundation in 2019, the Science Lounge has established itself as a central innovation meeting and will remain an important platform for the exchange of ideas on key green tech topics in the future.
at On August 30 and 31, the Living Legends of Aviation Europe Awards focused on groundbreaking developments and challenges in the automotive, aerospace, health and new technologies sectors. International participants presented their latest findings and advances in the field of sustainable research and discussed the future of mobility and technological progress.
The event was a complete success and showed once again how important interdisciplinary exchange is for progress in these areas. The Science Lounge will continue to serve as a hub for innovation and collaboration in the coming years - more to come in 2025/2026!
Partnership announced between scalaria and The Explorers Club New York City
In its over 100-year history, the Explorers Club, founded in 1904, has dedicated itself to supporting the scientific discovery and exploration of land, sea, atmosphere and space. The "terra incognita", the unknown land. Numerous expeditions, such as the exploration of the Mariana Trench, the first ascent of Mount Everest or the first moon landing, were carried out by members of the club. Even if there are hardly any unknown places on earth today, it is now more important than ever to identify unexplored green tech solutions and make them usable for a sustainable future.
The intention to implement future joint projects in line with the shared ideals and values was announced at the club's 120th Annual Dinner in New York City in April this year by Humberto Schenk, part of the scalaria management team, and The Explorers Club President Richard Garriott de Cayeux. The partnership aims to offer sustainable technologies a platform for international exchange. It also aims to stimulate and promote the spirit of innovation and discovery in the green tech sector.
