What is the scalaria sunset wing?

The scalaria sunset wing is the private hotel area for holiday guests within the 4-star superior Event Resort scalaria in St. Wolfgang on Lake Wolfgang. This design hotel is located directly on the lake and is primarily available for individual guests during the summer season from May to September, as well as in December. Guests enjoy "Designer Rooms" and suites with lake views, a private beach, a wellness area, a late riser breakfast until 12 PM, and the special scalaria holiday feeling directly on Lake Wolfgang.

In summer, guests of scalaria can also enjoy the Lemon Beach Bar & the Lemon Day Restaurant directly on Lake Wolfgang. On selected evenings, holiday guests can additionally look forward to the popular dinner buffet with live cooking and a summery atmosphere on the terrace of the Circus Circus restaurant.

The scalaria sunset wing is the private hotel area for holiday guests within scalaria and is located at See 1, 5360 St. Wolfgang in the Salzkammergut, Austria – directly on the shore of Lake Wolfgang. Scalaria is situated in the front row on the lake, with its own beach, direct access to the water, and in one of the sunniest spots in St. Wolfgang. Its central location combines a lakeside holiday with short distances to the village center of St. Wolfgang.

Scalaria, with the scalaria sunset wing, is easily accessible by car, train, or via Salzburg Airport. By car, guests can reach scalaria via the A1 motorway and the Mondsee or Thalgau exits. It is approximately 61 km from Salzburg, 114 km from Linz, and 236 km from Munich to St. Wolfgang.

What are the check-in and check-out times at the 4-star Superior Hotel scalaria?

Check-in at the scalaria sunset wing on Lake Wolfgang is possible from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, we kindly ask our guests to vacate the room by 11:00 AM and check out by 12:00 PM at the latest. For a relaxed stay, guests also have access to a luggage room and a bellboy service.

Is there a bellboy service and a luggage room at scalaria?

Yes, a bellboy service is available to guests in the scalaria sunset wing. Our bellboys will be happy to assist you with your luggage, ensuring your holiday on Lake Wolfgang starts stress-free. On arrival and departure days, you can also safely store your luggage in the hotel's locked luggage room. For loading and unloading, guests can briefly stop in the driveway and then park their vehicle in one of the designated parking spaces.

Are there EV charging stations for cars at scalaria?

Yes, at scalaria, guests have access to two electric vehicle charging stations directly at the hotel entrance. Our bellboys and reception team will be happy to assist you with organizing a charging slot and inform you about the current costs.

The maximum charging time is 3 hours, for which a one-time fee of €40 is charged. As the access point is located in the fire lane area, the hotel will take possession of the car key during the charging process if desired. Guests who require a longer charging time before their departure can reserve a suitable charging slot in advance.

Are there vouchers and a voucher shop?

No, pets are not allowed in the scalaria sunset wing or anywhere on the entire scalaria premises on Lake Wolfgang. The hotel places great importance on providing a quiet, exclusive, and relaxed holiday experience for all guests and therefore asks for your understanding that dogs and other animals cannot be brought along.

Is a local tourism tax payable at scalaria?

Yes, at scalaria on Lake Wolfgang, a local tourism tax (Nächtigungsabgabe) is charged in addition to the room rate. This currently amounts to €2.40 per person per night and will be itemized on the hotel bill upon departure. Young people up to the age of 15 are exempt from the local tourism tax.

Is there parking at scalaria?

Yes, parking spaces are available for guests of scalaria on Lake Wolfgang. At the hotel's nearby car park "P6", there is a limited number of spaces at a current rate of €10.00 per day and vehicle. Parking is only possible with a valid parking ticket.

Additionally, public parking options such as the multi-storey car park or the "Zentrum P3" car park are within walking distance of the hotel. The current rate there is €13.60 per day and vehicle. For added convenience, guests can also use the scalaria Shuttle Service.

Are there special house rules at scalaria?

Yes, at scalaria on Lake Wolfgang, the area is exclusively for hotel guests ("Residents only"). For safety and comfort reasons, access to the premises is only permitted for guests with a valid room card. Hotel guests are asked to carry their room card during their stay and present it if required. This ensures an exclusive and relaxed holiday experience for all guests.

Is there a garage at scalaria?

Yes, scalaria on Lake Wolfgang has a small garage for bicycles. Guests of scalaria can safely store their bikes there and charge e-bikes. We recommend bringing your own bike lock.
